Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a branch of computer science that enables machines to perform tasks that typically require human intelligence. This includes recognizing speech, understanding natural language, making decisions, solving problems, and even perceiving the environment. AI works by using algorithms, which are sets of rules, to process data and make decisions based on that data. There are two main types of AI: Narrow AI - This type of AI is designed to perform a specific task. Examples include Siri, which understands and responds to voice commands, and recommendation systems on platforms like Netflix or YouTube. General AI - This would be an AI capable of performing any intellectual task a human can do. General AI is still theoretical and has not yet been developed. AI has several subfields, including:

ML is a subset of Artificial Intelligence that enables machines to learn from data and improve their performance on tasks over time without being explicitly programmed.

Enables machines to understand & interact using human language. Applications include language translation, sentiment analysis, and virtual assistants like Alexa and Siri.

Computer Vision Empowers computers to "see" and interpret visual information from the world. Used in facial recognition, object detection, and self-driving vehicles.
